With the rise in dependence on
'convenience foods' (including everything from: fast, junk,
frozen, prepackaged, boxed and canned food) we are quickly
seeing our health and well-being deteriorate. Life is getting
increasingly more hectic, leaving many mistakenly believing
that preparing healthy food is just not feasible. Luckily,
this is NOT TRUE.
The Eat Yourself Healthy Cooking Classes are intended to
demystify and simplify healthy cooking. The Basic 6 Week Healthy
Cooking class is filled with time saving tips, information
on healthy food preparation and lots of easy and adaptable
recipes that take very little time to prepare.
The classes include: taste testing, demonstration and hands-on
food preparation. All foods used will be organic. Each class
is 2 hours in length.

Healthy Breakfasts ~ breakfast is A VERY
important meal, but also one that gives people the most
problems. We will explore warm and cold cereal options,
toast toppers, and hearty satisfying meals as well. |

Sensational Snacks ~ after this class you
will no longer think of a chocolate bar or bag of chips
as acceptable snack options! |

Portable Lunches ~ who said all home-made
lunches had to be sandwiches?? We will explore various
sandwich alternatives, as well as other tasty, yet portable,
lunches |

| Week Five |
 |
Alternative Grains ~ with the rise in allergic
reactions caused by eating (and often over-eating) wheat,
we will examine all the other tasty grains available.
Some recipes can be used for: breakfast, side dishes,
main meals and even desserts. YUM! |

Quick and Tasty Dinners ~ when you get
home from work, the last thing you want to do is spend
hours in the kitchen, in this class we will simplify dinner
preparation, leaving you satisfied, yet NOT uncomfortably
stuffed! |
