The healing process often manifests in certain physical withdrawal symptoms.  Because these can sometimes be mistaken for symptoms of illness, it is important to know them in advance.

The organs of elimination – the: Bowels, Kidneys, Lungs, and Skin, may be sluggish, inefficient or blocked when one is not in optimal health.  As a result there is a backup of matter, and the body starts accumulating debris in the form of fat, calcium deposits, plaque (in arteries and teeth), mucous, hardened stools, tumors, cysts, stones and even water.

An accumulation of wastes will impede the functioning of the immune system, and will reduce overall health, manifesting as various ailments or chronic conditions.  Whenever a new, healthy regimen is began, the body will naturally begin to eliminate stored toxins.  The effects of this may provoke a cold, aches & pains, or mucous discharges.  This is natural & healthy (and usually mild), and is called a ’healing crisis’ ~ symptoms should dissipate within a few days and is a sign that the body IS cleansing & ridding itself of the debris that is currently hindering your health, and is becoming stronger in the process!

Antibiotics and other medications we are accustomed to taking are designed to arrest colds, infections,  and other symptoms, that may in actuality be necessary if the body wants to rid itself of toxins and achieve a state of optimal health & vitality.
